Hi everyone,
I hope this post is as exciting for you as it is for me. I spent the last week and a half reworking the procedural terrain generation. With the addition of some new assets I think it really is starting to look amazing! There is still more work to do but I’m going to release it as a new update for people to start playing around in. I recommend creating a new world since previous saves will not work with the new world generation. Full patch notes at the bottom.
Patch Notes - v0.0.2
- New world generation with multiple unique biomes.
- Water and swimming mechanics (simple but functional).
- Added mouse sensitivity settings and an option to invert the Y-axis.
- Fixed pressing Escape now hides the settings menu in game.
- More key bindings can be changed.
- Added “Invalid Location” message when a building can’t be placed due to uneven ground.
